Black Cat are known for their great SIB’s but this compound is taking it to another level! Four pre-linked fireworks create this beast which lasts 2:30 and contains just under 4kg of powder. The 220 shots produce some stunning effects. Starting with z-firing red and green glitter mines to silver spinners / tourbillions which burst to blue stars and coloured falling leaves. A straight firing section of huge white strobe mines rise to monster bursts of purple stars and huge umbrella bursts of gold palms with silver glittering tips followed by blue mines, red tail to blue peony with more golden palms. A fanned volley of white glitter mines to red dahlia and white glitter bursts fills the sky before another sweep of gold brocades flank a center section of red crossettes. A rainbow of multi-coloured mines lift to bursts of the same. A double W firing section of thick gold tiger tail comets flank burst of purple and green dahlia with silver strobe before a V of super bright white column mines rise to red and green stars to bright white blink waterfalls. This firework continues to impress with red tails to huge bursts of blue stars with gold palm pistil (one of my fave effects), blue mines to gold tiger tail comets rise to green stars with gold king crowns, deep red glitter mines to purple dahlia and red ghost. A z-firing sweep of brocade mines to yellow tails rise to beautiful low noise bursts of multi-coloured falling leaves. The finale consists of multiple sweeps of brocade mines, red tails to red strobe and brocade and brocade comet tails to purple and green with huge crackling palms. The ultimate SIB, Colossus is an apt name for this great firework.
Fireworks Delivery:
The delivery of fireworks is extremely expensive because fireworks are classed as explosives and only a select few specialist couriers will actually transport hazardous goods. Nevertheless, we are currently working on a delivery option for fireworks that will be safe and economically viable for our customers. As soon as this has been achieved, the website will be updated.
However, if you are unable to come to the store to collect your products then please give us a call (01204 523832) and we will endeavour to find a suitable solution for you if you live within the local area. For a small fee and for orders over £50, we may be able to deliver the fireworks to you if you live within the local area. Delivery on Bonfire Night and New Years Eve is not available.
Always follow the firework code, stick to these simple rules, and be safe this bonfire night:
Only buy fireworks marked BS 7114 or CE Marked (EN 15947). All of the fireworks we sell meet these standards.
Don’t drink alcohol if you’re setting off fireworks
Store fireworks in a closed box
Follow the instructions on each firework
Light fireworks at arm’s length, using the taper provided
Stand well back
Never go near a firework that has been lit – even if it hasn’t gone off it could still explode
Never put fireworks in your pocket or throw them
Always supervise children around fireworks
Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves
Never give sparklers to a child under five
Keep pets indoors
Don’t set off noisy fireworks late at night and never after 11.00pm (except on certain occasions)
Take care around open flames such as bonfires and barbecues – all clothes even those labelled “low flammability” can catch fire
